Walk away from this class with your very own handmade Maxi Skirt using our 100% cotton fabric - no experience needed, absolute beginners welcome!

An everyday, breathable maxi skirt with an elasticated waist that's perfect for hot summer days, holidays abroad or lazy weekends at home.

What you'll learn: By the end of the session you'll have learnt the basics of how to use a sewing machine, how to take your own measurements, how to use an overlocker machine and you'll take home a Maxi Skirt that you made from scratch - skills you'll use again and again on your sewing journey.

What's included:

- All fabrics (choose your own from our selection), materials and sewing machines provided
- Instructions booklet for your pattern so you can make the Maxi Skirt again at home
- Step-by-step guidance from a sewing teacher

Location details: The class will be held in the Motor House Down Room, Insole Court, Fairwater Road, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2LN. There is free parking on site. The class will be from 10am till 2pm on your selected date. A 30 minute lunch break will be provided. You can bring your own lunch along to the class or you can purchase something from the cafe on site.

Booking: Spaces are currently limited to 5 people per class keep things relaxed and personal. Suitable for ages 16+. Need to cancel or change your booking? Please get in touch at least 48 hours beforehand and we'll sort it for you.
