Come and make your very own Market Bag from scratch using some of our 100% cotton fabric - no experience needed, absolute beginners welcome!

An everyday, reversible shoulder bag that's perfect for the weekend market, the beach, or everyday outings.

What you'll learn: By the end of the session, you'll have learnt the basics on how to use a sewing machine, you'll have learnt how to cut woven fabric correctly using pattern pieces, you'll experience the importance of pressing your sewing project and you'll have made a Market Bag from scratch - skills you'll use again and again, whatever you make next.

What's included:

- All fabrics (choose your own from our selection), materials and sewing machines provided
- A physical copy of the pattern and instructions, so you can make the Market Bag again at home
- Step-by-step guidance from a sewing teacher

Location details: The class will be held in the Motor House Down Room, Insole Court, Fairwater Road, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2LN. There is free parking on site. The class will be from 10am till 2pm on your selected date. A 30 minute lunch break will be provided. You can bring your own lunch along to the class or you can purchase something from the cafe on site. 

Booking: Spaces are currently limited to 5 people per class keep things relaxed and personal. Suitable for ages 16+. Need to cancel or change your booking? Please get in touch at least 48 hours beforehand and we'll sort it for you.
